16 years on the TRS - Thermo King marriage remains as strong as ever. As a consequence of importing second-hand refrigeration units TRS was approached in 1993 by Thermo King (the leading manufacturer of transport temperature controlled systems) to take on the New South Wales distribution of their products. The dealership involved not just selling new units, but providing comprehensive product support that included servicing and supplying spare parts.
TRS’s 17 authorised repair agents throughout NSW support all Thermo King products. Should a customer ever run into any problems on the road, one of TRS's mobile workshop vans provide after-hours service with interstate connections that can get to you and get you cool and on the road again ASAP.

During the hot Minneapolis summer of 1938, Frederick M. Jones created the first Thermo King unit to get freshly killed chickens to market without spoilage.
